We are Kettering Pride- a dynamic and inclusive non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Kettering, OH, dedicated to empowering and uplifting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth.

Mission:

Our mission is simple. Through our vital, transformative programs, we promote unconditional acceptance and create safe, affirming spaces for self-expression. We are committed to nurturing leadership opportunities, fostering community, and driving impactful advocacy that supports the unique journeys of LGBTQ+ individuals.

Vision:

Our vision is a vibrant, equitable world where every LGBTQ+ individual is not only celebrated and supported but also empowered to live their truth boldly and without fear. Here, diversity is embraced, and equality is the standard, advocating that no one faces discrimination or prejudice.

Values:

Our values govern everything we do. We provide inclusivity, empowerment, authenticity, and solidarity. We are more than just creators of safe spaces; we are pioneers of environments where individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities can exist and thrive. Our community is dedicated to empowering extraordinary individuals, enabling authentic connections, and defending an engaging, strong-standing network with resiliency that stands unbending in the face of opposition.

Legal:

In addition, this Coalition/Organization has been formed to perform all things incidental to, or appropriate to, the foregoing specific and primary purposes. However, the Coalition/Organization shall not, except to an insubstantial degree, engage in any activity or exercise any powers that are not in furtherance of its primary non-profit purposes.

The Coalition/Organization shall hold and may exercise all such powers as may be conferred upon any nonprofit organization by the laws of the State of Ohio and as may be necessary or expedient for the administration of the affairs and attainment of the purposes of the Coalition/Organization. At no time and in no event shall the Coalition/Organization participate in any activities that have not been permitted to be carried out by a Coalition/Organization exempt under Section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the "Code"), such as certain political and legislative activities.
